Langdale Pikes from Little Langdale
Creating a sense of space and distance was my main objective in this painting of the Langdale Pikes from Little Langdale. This was acheived through the use of cooler colours, less detail and lighter tones in the background and warmer colours, more detail and stronger tones in the foreground.
