In October 2002, David and Jenny took a trip to Jordan by themselves to sketch and paint and to reconnoitre for a possible group painting holiday there in the future. The scenery, history and the friendliness of the people convinced them they will have to return.

Apart from exploring the ancient ruins of Jerash and the beautiful Mosques in Amman, David and Jenny enjoyed the sights and sounds of the back streets where they felt completely safe.
