Painting Course with David BellamySaturday 2nd to Thursday 7th May 2020
Due to the current situation we have had to postpone
this course until the late summer 2020
As soon as the restrictions on movement allow we will publish a new date.
The St Davids area abounds with an amazing variety of scenes to paint, from harbours, boats, cliffs, waves, cottages, hills, crags, and so much more. There is something for everyone. There will be lots of demonstrations and if you like walking and sketching this is an unbeatable location, if you don’t like walking it’s not a problem. David and Jenny will both be available for tuition in any medium you prefer.
We have never found a sketching and painting location to beat Pembrokeshire. The Warpool Court has been a favourite venue for many years. Luxurious accommodation with splendid sea views and an exciting menu, what more could you ask for? This is a popular venue so book early.

I would be interested in this painting course.
Hello Diana
You book a place by contacting the hotel direct. I have yet to send them the booking forms but will be doing so in the next day or so. They will send you one of these forms which will have more details and you can then secure a place with a deposit. Thanks for enquiring. With best wishes
Jenny
We are looking forward to the course next week.
Do you recommend we bring any specific materials please?
Best wishes,
Lorna Guthrie.
Hello Lorna, I’ve sent you and email in reply to this. See you soon
Jenny
I am interested in coming to one of your workshops. I do both watercolor & pastels, but was wondering if you need to be more professional? I enjoy learning, but am not a professional artist.
Hello Mary,
Please do not feel that you need to have any experience at all to come on our courses. We welcome all artists, from complete beginners to more experienced artists. We do not encourage an atmosphere of competition and encourage a team spirit where everyone can learn from one another as well as from David and myself. The Pembrokeshire course is an ideal one to introduce you to working out of doors in front of the subject as we seek out both simple and more complicated scenes so there is something for everyone and not too overwhelming. If anyone is in need of extra help then we make a point of working with them early on to get them started. I hope this helps and if you need further information please email me at jennykeal@gmail.com
Dear Jenny Have you any vacancies for the art holiday in Pembrokeshire this year ? Brenda Cobelli
Hi Brenda
I believe there are still places, please contact the hotel as they are taking the bookings. Details are at the bottom of the page. Sometimes it takes a while for them to get back to you because they run a skeleton staff in winter.
Jenny
Hi, I’m very new to watercolour painting, I’ve been lent two of your books and do watch videos of you at work. I would love to come to one of your courses but I work within a school so dates for courses are sometimes not suitable, do you day courses or weekends?
Kind regards Lisa
Hello Lisa, I do occassionally do one day workshops. They are normally organised by art societies. There is one next month at the Sandpiper Studio on the Wirral. There may be a vacancy. details here: http://www.thesandpiperstudio.co.uk/index.php/workshops-demos
